    Hi there,

First off let me apologize if I have posted this in the incorrect forum. I have recently seperated from the U.S. Navy and moved to Canada to be with my wife and children. The why's are long story in itself. With that said I love it here but this Country's government moves incredibly slow! I have been unable to persue gainful employment here as I am not a legal resident yet. Currently my wife is the sole breadwinner and to say the least things are very tight financially. We can make ends meet, but there is absolutley no money left for anything else! I have been trying to research all of the interent business opportunities I can and make an informed decision on where to try my hand. I have read all of the fluff that alot of the sites have on them about how they were in my shoes and now they earn $5,000.00 + a day. If it's true good for them. The bottom line is that it reads just like a canned story. Same story on every site only the names change. I have been able to come up with two cnadidates Profit Lance and Maverick Money makers. I ahve found 2 or 3 good reviews for PL and can find no other review whatsoever for Maverick. Maverick seems to be the better choice, but as I said I can find no website that is not controlled by them for an independant review. That is why I am here. This forum is made up of the interents leading authority on these programs. I figure between all of the members on here there probably isn't a person who hasn't tried everyone of the programs on the net. With that said can anyone inform on Profit Lance or Maverick or even a system I may not have come across? I know that you are all busy people but I would greatly appreciate your help. I can't afford to guess wrong and end up losing as that could result in muy kids not having lunch money for school for a couple of weeks. I spent 13 honorable years in the Navy being trained in everything under the sun. I am motivated and can make this work, but only if I get into a legitimate operation. Thank you all in advance for your help.

    Sincerely,

    Kip

Google the name of the scheme and see what comes up - if it's a load of blogs and micro-sites trying to sell it on - avoid.
99.99% of these are little better than pyramid schemes - no, I'm being too generous, it's 100%.
They don't generate money by selling anything intrinsically worth anything - you recoup your costs by getting in quick and selling it on, before the gig is up, the emperors new clothes are revealed and the buzz has moved on to the next "get rich never" plan

If you don't have money you can afford to lose, you shouldn't get in internet marketing. I'm not gonna lie, chances are, your first attempt at being successful will be long and drawn out before you ever make a dime. You might get lucky, but for most there is a learning curve. Even some of the best internet marketers have projects that continue to fail. You aren't going to be guaranteed success in this market on your first attempt. If someone tries to, they are flat out lying.

There is no such thing as a get rich quick scheme. That being said, there are plenty of get rich strategies. One of my sayings is, "It takes money to make money. But never forget, Time = Money", If you're willing to work hard (which I don't doubt you are, as an ex Shipman), you just need a little guidance. Checking out these forums is a great start. Anyone who's trying to sell you information most likely isn't going to be of much help to you in the long run.

I believe it's all about finding what you love and doing it, especially online. You surely have many stories and many experiences that would help you in anything your pursue. Feel free to check out my 11 Make Money Online Commandments in my signature to get an idea of where you could start.
