Noob here with a few questions...

    First Hi all, I am Brian.

    I am wanting to start a website up but I am kinda new at it. I am decent with computers but have never done and website work. Are there any sites/books that i can read to furthur my knowledge on the basics of this? Any tips/info would be great.

    I allready kinda have a plan for a main site that I wanna start, and have bougt the domain name. Now i just need to start building, and learning how to advertise it, and maybe me a little extra cash from it.

    Welcome to dp :)

    My tips ..

    1) don't post in forums for at least 15 days.
    2) Try to spend 3-4 hours read old threads in different forums.
    3) by the same time you'll see some helpful posts then pick their blogs (if webmaster related) and read their old posts and think about changing patterns.
    4) register in other forums and do 1-3 steps
    5) After 15 days you'll be different Brian ;)
