    Hi!

I've JUST started with my first wordpress installation on my bluehost account, and everything seems to be set up correctly. The wp-config file has my proper database info, and in phpmyadmin the tables seem to have populated correctly. I can see the basic blog template when I type in the url (thenally.com/wordpress). My problem occurs when I click any tag or post (or even click view under a post in the dashboard), I get a 404 error and a URL not found message. I'm so new to this that I don't even know what I should see when I click one of those links, but I assume the error page isn't it! A point in the right direction would be appreciated!

    Cheers!

So you've installed WordPress in a directory named "wordpress"? Is that the URL you have set through your Dashboard? (Settings >> General).

If so, take a look at your permalinks (Settings >> Permalinks) - set them to "Month and name". A little yellow box should appear after saving, what does it say?

I set the Permalinks to 'Month and Name' and it solved EVERYTHING. Rejoice! Thanks so much for the prompt reply, I really appreciate it!
