Non-WWW to WWW 301 Redirect for IIS ?

    Hi Guys,

    I need to set up Redirection of Non www to www for Microsoft IIS Server.

    Can you Guide me the code and other things.

    also wanted to Do redirection for www.mysite.com/index.html to www.mysite.com

    please advise, which would the best way to redirection for both issue.

    Thanks Friend for your reply.we will look on internet services manager for Microsoft IIS.


    is there any other option like , can We put any code in .htaccess file ?

    Please Advise if is there better option for 301 Redirection in IIS.

    I am struggling with this too. I have some code which can be inserted into an ASP file which accomplishes a 301 from non-www to the www version of the URL, however, we aren't sure how to implement it without also making the site root / go to /default.asp.
