I am a non-US publisher. I had applied for YPN beta long long ago... Though it was mentioned that it was for US publishers, I had filled a form hoping that they would open for all soon. Today I received an invitation to join the YPN! I was exceited that they have opened for all publishers! But they needed Social Security/ Tax details Any idea what can be done? When are they likely to open the Network for International Publishers?
I'm on the same boat, if someone knows if there is something that can be done about this I will really appreciate it.
This has been covered many times, but here it is again... (International Publishers are scheduled to be added sometime in the second half of 2006.) "US Publishers only" If you are not a US resident, you cannot participate at this time. From Jensense: "And next time you hear a non-US publisher grumbling that they were accepted and can't use it, remember that the only reason they were accepted is because they didn't read the instructions in the first place " Why are so many non-US publishers being accepted to YPN
Well I have to say that Jensense is talking nonsense I applied the third day they began recruiting people to the program, well before they even went beta. At that time there was no indication on their singup page that the program was only for US publishers. Now there is a big and bold text saying that is only for US publishers but when I applied they asked only for your email. Thanks anyway.
LOL. It was there from the first day that sign up screen went online with YPN - I quoted the US-only bit on my blog the day it launched. Before that where you could submit your email address for more information when the program launched, and they would periodically send out announcements about YPN updates (Y!Q was one of the announcements they sent as well) but it wasn't an official application at the time.
