Non relevant ads displaying

I recently changed my domains niche from a health related website to a financial niche. It's a generic domain name so that's not a problem, but what's happening is the old adsense ads are still being displayed even though the new site has been in place for over 2 days now. It's not the meta tags or content, the relevant ads just won't display.

Anybody know how to get the correct ads to display?

    Thanks

Is it the site in your signature? If so, it's showing financial ads for me.

I think the google bot/spyder has to go onto your site and see what keywords you have for the ads to switch. Thats what impression I was under and that could take a few days to a week... and that site is showing financial ads for me..

I thought it'd take maybe a few hours, it has in the past anyway. I guess I'll wait a bit longer, just thought maybe there was something I could do.

    Thanks

You need to make sure that google has indexed your site recently. Even though there's new content if google doesn't have it indexed the content won't trigger the correct ads. You can find this out by going to google.com/webmasters/tools and signing up for their program. It'll give you all sorts of good info on your site.

Yeah it does seem to be displaying the adds correctly now on all the pages except the index.html (or is it just me). I guess I can start building links, but I sure wish the homepage would display relevant ads.

    Thanks
