Non related websites back links

will it hurt having non related website linked to me? Websites like education, automotive, and etc its to a seo website and web design? Any one know much about this?

 

If you see someone selling Rolex watches in a flea market, it is not hard to conclude he is selling some counterfeits. The same rule applies to search engine optimization. Search engines are there to find relevant contents and relevant info. If you place links to your SEO or web design site from sites that have nothing to do with those topics, it is not going to help. Find more relevant sites and post links there. One quality link can be worth tons of those worthless links.

Non related links won't hurt you, and yes they do help.

One question though, how are you managing to deliver SEO services and have no idea about this?

anyways just getting some feedback from you guys which I have links on non topic websites well someone of the websites linking to me are all categories like business, web design, seo, art, and etc which are blogs

The unrelated backlinks definately will help.

 

i dont think that it will hırt your ranking because you will not effect the sites which are linking to your site. i think you must look the sites that you are giving link. if you are giving a an adult or drug site, this may hurt your ranking

 

All incoming links should help...
More so if they are pertient to your sites content and topic...

 

thats what I was thinking, just a curious question cuase you know how ever thinks different about seo every ones got there believes about the search engines, but we all know its about links generally I thinkt ypically any link helps, but maybe a relevant link helps a little more

 

It won't hurt as long as you don't like to them. But it may not be so helpful either, depending on how irrelevant the site is.

Google is getting better at finding irrelevant links, so I wouldn't count on link juice so much any more TBH. In some cases, those links are simply useless.

 

Backlinks from Porn or WareZ might be dangerous
but Backlinks from Non Related like say if you have Technology Related Site and u getting backlinks from Health Related site then it would hurt u at all I'd just take it as bonus Back Links
