Non-proxy ads on proxy sites.

Most proxy sites sites that I've seen and the one I have, that use adsense, show only ads for other proxy sites.

Most people using proxy sites are teens or people at work.

Is there a way to get ads shown that will appeal to teens?

I thew up an article on my proxy page that mentions students and workers several times, but it didn't seem to change the focus of the ads.

Not unless you put some teen-related content on your page - it's contextual advertising.

Make sure you change your meta data (your site description and keywords) to reflect what type of ads you want served as well.

Put up a quick clip about MySpace, teens, cellphones, and any other teen-related topic you can think of.

Yea, put things that teens like on your website. Such as porn, drugs and theiving.
In fact no, I don't think google will appreicate that :D
Just put some content on your website that you feel will be relevant to the ads you want displayed.

sometimes a tag cloud could help

Which would show all the popular terms being searched. It may bring the sort of ads that you want.
