Non-Power Users on Social Websites like Digg

Is it still worth submitting your sites to websites like Digg even if you will probably not even break 5 overall diggs?

Has anyone here had someone else who is a power user post their site for them?

I guess, it is still worth submitting because, at least you can have a backlink and chance to get the traffic through that.

i have submitted more than 50+ links in DIGG, but none if my link has more than 5 diggs. even only 2 links has 5 diggs, for that i had request some users to digg it.

I am a digg user (not power user), I don't submit my sites but I often submit stories from sites (new and old) when I find them interesting. Irrespective of my user status in Digg, the good ones get 30-40 diggs. You need to have good content and it will automatically go up in Digg and/or other SB sites.

If you are never going to go past 5 diggs over all then you probably won't go past 10 referrals per submission either. I think people normally request power users to sub some of their stuff if it's interesting.
