Hi, I already searched the forums but I didn't come across a satisfying a satisfying answer. So I started this thread. I'm a freelance software developer from Sri Lanka. Since my country is not supported by Paypal, I opened a Moneybookers account. It woks fine. I'm 100% satisfied with them. But I have a problem. Most of the buyers have Paypal and when they find out that I do not have Paypal, they just leave me. I have lost a good deal of money due to this reason. So I'm just wondering... Is there a method to accept Paypal payments without Paypal? An alternative perhaps... When a Paypal user asks me where to send money I should be able to just tell him the email address without him having to go through a sign up process, which I find is irritating for the buyer. Please comment on the methods you know Thanks in advance Jester009
You could just create a PayPal acc and say your from US :s... or can't you do that? Erm... a VCC to to verify . -Jac
Thanks Jabowen for replying... Well I already tried that...The result was the account got locked. (limited) They need address verification. Even I got a VCC to verify the account, how am I going to withdraw money??
Hi romioaa, I went through Plimus.com. Can you just give me an idea how they work... Thanks Jester009
Yup plimus is great and have friendly support staffs Check their price override feature, so that you only need to create one product for all of your clients. Your clients can pay trough paypal,cc etc... Once you reach min payout, you can ask for payment to your plimus-payoneer debit card
Right now I'm working sites like Scriptlance and Getafreelancer. What I want to do is when I meet a buyer who wants to pay me through Paypal, just give him the email address. Just like a normal scenario. Hassel free... I think with Plimus and 2checkout the buyer will have to select my products from their website. Right? Most buyers will back off as soon as they have to go through one additional step So guys what do you think, Am I thinking about something which can not be done???
