Non-Major Search Engines?

So I've been developing a Search Engine Submission tool to submit my website to all major as well as non-major Search Engines.

What I've noticed is that non-major Search Engines can be really powerful and almost as powerful as major ones. I believe this is because very few webmasters are submitting their sites to these Search Engines. Obviously I'm not going to give out my list of non-major Search Engines but I'm curious if anyone here has tried this out themselves? I will likely be offering my submission tool to the public after it reaches its final development stages.

It is very difficult task that you have chosen, to develop that kind of search engine.
When you develop it should be free to every one.

non-major search engines get their results from major search engines.
Rank in major and you'll rank in non-major

Absolutely correct that many not so famous search engines do not use google index and have their own.
The case with baidu is very good example, and there about half a billion customers waiting on the other side, in case you're not politically biased ;)

Hello EntireWeb - are you available to answers questions about your engine? If so, I can create a thread for you as I have a lot of them. I love your engine, but when I have questions on anything from my paid inclusion buys to other items about how large your user base it (how many searches a day) to why sometimes SpeedyAds are context sensitive and sometime not I have NEVER been able to get a response except when I post a comment on your blog which is not the best forum for Q&A.

I love you engine and would love to talk with you (and everyone else in DP) if you would allow me to open a thread for you.

    Thanks in advance.

Just from personal experience one of our sites gets much more traffic from Yahoo than from Google. I certainly would not discount the other search engines. Is Google a major player? Yes, but there are many more that can give you just as much if not more traffic.
