I've recently started with CJ and ppc, so I was wondering, is it ok to use like product links or some other link on adwords if I want to link directly to merchant's site? I got couple of sales so I am sure that some merchants record them. But could others perhaps not credit me because there was no impression recorded ? Clicks get recorded fine in CJ, but I am gonna have 100% ctr soon. So, can I use any link that merchant provides or am I restricted to keyword links?
That should be fine - in the programs that I work on, we actually tell affiliates to use specialized links and product links in their search marketing campaigns. Keyword links are nothing special, merchants just put their terms there. Many affiliates remove the impression tracking pixel or host images locally anyway, so most merchants do not pay attention to the CTR.
