Non keyword backlinks

I've been building a lot of backlinks to my site lately, but most of them are just my site name due to blog comments and so on. I already have first place on search engines for the name of my site, so I'm wondering, is there any power to creating backlinks with my site name if I already have first place? Should I be focusing entirely on keywords and phrases I want to rank higher for at this point?

You can stick to keywordluv blogs to get keyworded backlinks. I would also use article submission and directory submission to generated some links with desired anchor text.

I would move over to building one way links using keyword anchor text now rather than your name.

If you want to focus on ranking good in the SERPS it is best to build links having your keywords in the anchor text.
If you want to focus on PR I don't think it matters a lot.

I advise you to focus on SERPS.

Hmm...I've never heard of this. I will definitely try it out. What's the best way to find them?

If you want to rank higher then you should bring back links with your targeted keywords but there should be some variations

i agree .use more keywords,do not resume at just one or two .i think it is very important that you don't use the same anchor keywords.if you use the same anchor all the time, google may consider you a spammer ,after some time

take a look on what keywords bring traffic to your website. Take those keywords and build links with them in your anchor texts. This way you will rank higher for multiple keywords.

You need to focus on the keywords that people use within your niche if you are wanting qualified traffic.

I think those links are still great. Not all links that are natural have anchor text. Im sure lots of authorit sites out there have "raw" links pointing to them.

If anything a non anchor text link will help with domain trust.

I mean with keyword in your links, google will see it highly related to your site for U KW!
