NOINDEX! What does this term mean?

Hey ppl.


I wana know wht does this term mean . NoIndex and hwo do it effects the SERPS?

I have a WP blog and i found google do not index my categories and then i saw in my SEO Plugin there was a noindex activated on categories. Is this the reason?

In this case it simply means that the SE's are instructed to not index and subsequently cache the category sections. This is done to eliminate on site duplicate content issues.

Thanks for help but i have a cell phone wares blog and i reali need to optimize it for my categories. should i avoid using noindex or it would be harmful in anyway?

if you want to get some search engines traffic better don't use "noindex"

 

search engine visit that link but not index that links. so if you don't need to index some link then you can use no index but as per my opinion don't use no index. you can use robots.txt for those link which you don't want to index. this is not only one way to not index url but there are so many ways for no index. because every man use different way or technique for no index.
