I'm 99% sure meta tags don't influence the PR of a page but I'm gonna ask anyway to make sure. Will the meta tag <meta name="robots" content="noindex, follow"> have ANY influence on the PR of my pages ? My blog gets "a lot" of SE visitors but 50% of the time they end up on a categorie page instead of on the actual article page because my categorie pages have higher PR values (logical isn't it ). It would be better if I could direct these people exactly where they need to be instead that they need to find the matching post for themselfs.
Meta tags do not affect the PR in any way... PR for a page is calculated on the basis of links pointing to the page in question. You can read more about PR here: http://www.google.com/corporate/tech.html
