I want to submit some articles to a new directory. I'm looking between Articlesbase and Articledashboard. I've heard articlesbase rank well, but that it's also no follow. Article dashboard on the other hand seems to be do follow but not as powerful. Suggestions besides putting them up on my own site?

I personally have done articlebase, but if articleabase ranks better use better content articles there and use other articles on articledashboard for the follow link, but really i would suggest you use ezine, its better than both.

there are so many of them. I like using the article submitter it really speeds up the process.

I would recommend using a few different ones. I believe I have a page up on my site telling which ones have the highest domain PR.

Don't limit yourself. Send a unique article to each and every directory you can. It's all about mass exposure.

If you have a website and have been involved with any type of search engine optimization you will likely know the difference between the DoFollow and NoFollow links. In actuality there is no such thing as a DoFollow link as it was just a name given to links that actually lack the “NoFollow” tag, but I digress.

The traditional view is that to DoFollow link’s are the only ones you should worry about and that NoFollow links offer no value to your search engine optimization efforts. This is simply not true, as all links back to a website have a benefit in one form or another.

Article submission is more about driving targeted traffic to your site.
Furthermore a few NoFollow links won't hurt your SEO one bit.
They will diversify your link profile which is a good thing.

Guys you need to learn this. Article base gives you nofollow tag. But if you finish submitting 3 good articles and contact them they would put your articles to follow tag.
I did it and you can too do that.
