nofollow or redirect script?

Is there any significant difference between using the nofollow attribute or a link redirect script for external links? I mean, doesn't it affect one's pagerank if there are many external links without nofollow?

 

it does affect PR, use nofollow for external links that u dont want to pass link juice to....google loves this nofollow attribute

No, it will not effect on your PR but if you will not do no follow then it will effect on PR.
