There has been a lot of talk about how no follow links are no good. While this myth has many debates for both sides of the story I think whatever the case they are still good to have.

I have seen plenty of traffic come from no follow links simply because even though Google may not follow them (let the debate begin) people DO follow them. It is people we want to follow the links anyway.

So next time you see a no follow link put yours in there! It may not do much for Google but normaly those sites offering no follow are good for human traffic anyway due to their no spam content.

It is true even if it is a nofollow link it can bring traffic. Dofollow are only for SEO, a better rankig on search engines ut sometimes we get less results than nofollow links.

Any traffic is good traffic, if the visitor hibernates on the site reading relevant content you will be rewarded by Google.

How about other search engines, like yahoo? Do they follow nofollow links?

google is not the end of the world either. yahoo and bing still count nofollow links so they are still valuable.

whether people will follow nofollow links or not depends on where the link is placed. if it is placed on a resourceful site on a prominent location, you will get some visit. but a typical link placed for link building purpose will not be noticed and clicked by many

Yup I pick up links some on nofollow places. I see an interesting article on a blog or somewhere that allows comments and I want to comment on, I always take time to stick my site in the website thing. It sure doesn't hurt.
