    Dofollow will pass pagerank juice, nofollow will not. It is useful to get dofollow links for seo. Until your site becomes very popular and google complains that you should go nofollow, or penalizes you. A good combination of them is what you should shoot for with the top end being dofollow.

    everybody here on DP will say a link is a link whether its nofollow or dofollow. BUT Google will give more weight to dofollow links..Still there is no harm in getting nofollow links...

    There is no guarantee for nofollow...so always go for dofollow for better google results.There is also a firefox addon to check whether it is a dofollow or nofollow linkl!!

    Nofollow links are useless for Google but from some no follow sites you will get traffic and do follow used for getting backlinks and increasing ranking in Google

    I don't think there's any benefit from nofollow links except you have them as advertisement on high traffic site.

    You can find whether it is dofollow or nofollow using a firefox addon.........NODOFOLLOW is the name of that addon..add that and enjoy the features!!

    google can only see do follow links. So, do follow is much better and effective than no follow. But it does not mean that no follow link does not have any significance. Traffic may also come from no follow link from where it is placed.

    Now a days dofollow and nofollow is not considering the issue . The major matter is where you are getting the backlink and how much worth of that back link for google.

    But most probably you need to follow dofollow first then you go for nofollow.

    do follow links are more important than no follow links but you should have both for organic purposes, a ratio of 9 to 1 is recommended for backlinks

    Links are automatically “dofollow” in the absence of the rel=”nofollow” attribute. There is no rel=”dofollow” attribute. It is used in robots.
