    Hi,
I own http://tech36.com/ Here people come and post their downloads and other tips, I saw that 90% of it was copy so I added <meta name="robots" content="noindex, follow">
So the question is will Google ban me because of the copied content? I mean I have a blog I maintain in http://tech36.com/blog I don't want that to be affected.

Not likely. All you're doing is telling Googlebot not to index the page. In other words, as far as the bot's concerned, your page does not exist.

You may use mozilla SEO plugin for checking this.

Google will not ban your page for duplicate content, but it will most likely place it in the supplemental index.

The page has to be indexed first for that to happen. He's telling the search engines NOT to index it, but to follow all the links on there.
