Nobody is certain - Is it possible to get this Indexed?

This situation is not that clear cut and wondering if anyone had had more experience and knows for sure.

Can 'on the fly' files get indexed like 'physical' files?

For example lets say Joomla shows a word doc file download link. When you click the link, the site generates the file on the fly for the user to view or download.

- Can this be indexed just as well as if the file was sitting in a directory waiting to be downloaded?

Some say yes, some no. its been a while and I am hoping someone out there has some solid info on this.

 

Is the link to the download link static or dynamic link?

 

depends on the search engine i guess and how they do it

 

Nophin, its a link dynamic file which is generated when clicked.
