The MX-700 is the most comfortable I've ever used. I even tried the MX-1000 and it doesn't come close. Before I started using it I had terrible shoulder and next stiffness.
if you get lower back pains, you shold also get a lumbar support pillow for your back. Those help tremendously. Rob is right on the mx700, best mouse ever. MS sells a keyboard with that mouse too that is the best I've used too. Its wireless as well. Pay a little extra for a nice chair. It pays off when your back isn't hurting everyday.
I guess that's the same shape as the mx 500 except that it's cordless then? Edit: Yes it's the same shape, just found a pic of both.
From what I've heard, massage&heat are great for the back and neck. So his suggestion was still better IMO.
Another alternative is to run(fast breathing exercise) for 15-20 minutes as soon as you feel that your back or neck get the pain. Try that, much better for your health than any ergonomical mouse or chair out on the market.
I've had back surgery and every winter I seem to throw out my back and I can tell you that I also spend something like 16 hours on the computer. The only solution is to walk! Every winter when I have back problems, I end up walking 2 hours at night. But for a healthy person, I suggest 30 to 45 minutes per day.
Yes that's true. In fact, there's a campaign run by the Ministry of Health here on TV: "Don't take back pain lying down". They reckon that it only gets worse if you just stay in bed and not move around at all. Obviously, you won't be able to move much immediately but as soon as you can move around a bit start by walking around the house and then maybe longer walks. Don't jog or run though as your back might not be ready to take the impact it gets when you run/jog.
If your back hurts too bad, just hammer a nail into your hand. Your back will feel a lot better guaranteed.
Nah, it was the paint scraper that slipped. A nurse over the phone from the description of the cut said that I should go check it at the hospital, but they said that the white stuff wasn't any tendon bits, just tissue and fat. S'pose it took my mind off back pain for 5 mins.
