    Rule of thumb
Never search for free domains if you're not ready to buy them

I usually just buy the domains that seem cool at whim.. often someone out there will want it, these forums would be a good place to offload stuff you bought on whim that actually turned out not to be useful ;p

THat's a really nice find :) I was always a bit curious as to how much they are worth. I am guessing though, that these are probably a starting price. I can imagine that for some 3 letter .com's you could get more than $3,500.

It says that if you have a premium letter domain it is worth about 5-6x more.

I was just trying to get a domain for my traffic services, and found this nice keyword:

    targeted traffic

Then, i found that www.targeted-traffic.biz was free. it was dumped, all other extensions were taken already. However i sometimes get myself confused thinking if it is best to take a good keyword domain (even a .net or .us or .biz) or a completely new one like www.crazytraffic.com with the plus of getting the .com but not being really a searched keyword...

im asking this because i have another option but did not registered... don't know if it's good :|

    dunno :|

I've got the late night domain search disease.... Often I awake in a fog the next morning to find my inbox flooded with godaddy confirmation emails....

Someone needs to start a support group for this problem.... I'd sign up!

Speaking of fog.tv.... How does the tv tld stack up? I have one myself.... But wasn't sure if it is worth keeping at the high reg price.... Thoughts?

First, when in doubt buy both. targeted-traffic.biz is the way to go.

If you have a really good domain name in the .tv exstention... keep it. It will grow in value over time.

Sorry, on an unrelated note.... traffic businesses can be a bit hard getting off the ground. If you need any help feel free to pm me and I'll give you a hand to kick-start it. Mine has been running for nearly 5 months now - and is just starting to get fun :)

Ok - now, back to domain name talk.
