so many questions but no one to answer them... Here is my question ....its about two months, my affiliate site is on #12 in google results but visitors are not more than 40 per day and product selling is uptil now nill..why is it ??
Just keep doing more and more SEO work, try to rank for as many terms as possible. That will increase your traffic.
Have you checked from Wordtracker how much interest there is for Forex trading books each day and then compare it what position against competitors you have. Then maybe 50 visitors per day isn't a bad number.
You share this problem with millions out there. This is basic rule which normally determine the success of your website: 1) What and how much information you provide on your site? 2) Where is your ranking in Search Engines? 3) How good u are in marketing your site? Why i say that?...because: 1) Majority of people use Internet for INFORMATION seeking. The more information u provide, more visitors u'll have. 2) Majority people use Search Engines to locate any site. The higher ranking u sit (your site), more visitors u'll have. 3) No matter how good products/services/information u have on your site, and no matter how beautiful site u have, MARKETING is the most important task u need to continuously perform. Never ever think to stop marketing your site! Having said that, same as other business in this world, doing business online also need proper & systematic plan and execution. There are a lot of related information on this topic out there, but be careful with tons of junks! My 2 cents.
we are all in the same ship all are facing the same problem so how can people answer you when they are busy researching for themselfs?
Did you do your keyword research before creating your site? If you didn't that could be a big problem. What if your site is targeting a keyword that only gets 100 hits a day if your the #1 guy? If that's the case then the best you can do is double your current traffic. If you DID do your keyword research and picked one with traffic then you need to work hard to take the #1 spot. 46% of all clicks go there so if you are #2 you've lost almost half the traffic you could have with a little more SEO work. This means that if you are #7 there is almost a potential to have 10x the traffic if you took the #1 spot. It's not just nice to be #1. It's essential.
There are folks on the web who are willing to spend money from home or the office using their computers. I think the best way to go after those folks is to tailor your sites marketing for a specific kind of product/person. I know it seems logical that the more items/surfers you have, the more sells you will make. I find, that you have to market to the folks, who are going to spend money and not do shotgun marketing. If you are selling clothes (which is a bad idea on the web, trust me) everyone needs clothes but, only a few items sell well on the internet in a small store. Personally I would sell something like adult diapers, since many folks who need them are embarrassed when making the purchase. You need to have a niche in this market to get your conversion rate up. I won't sell items that get a lot of returns, either.
Thank you for good advice. I work hard for this site and hope to much it will bring profit to me , may be i have to think again what i mistake.
