No Traffic So Far From Google - Is It My Website?

I just launched off a new home business directory and for some odd reason I haven't received one visitor yet from Google. Is the market overly saturated or something. I know Google is still indexing my website but I've always gotten at least a few visitors during the indexing process. What do you make out of this?

Have you checked to see if you actually rank for any keywords?

Maybe you haven't been indexed at all yet or just aren't being displayed for any searches.

You can look over my website at www.HomeBizLinkz.com. I think it's a little odd that my website has even come up for AT LEAST ONE odd search query. BTW I'm using Google Analytics to see where my traffic is coming from.

Nope, nothing so far according to Analytics. I submitted the site to Google, Yahoo, MSN, and Ask.com about 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Are there any back links pointing to your site yet? Use the yahoo link explorer to find out.

Your website is indexed in Google, but am not sure what keywords are optimizing for / or maybe ranking on?
however a quick search for "Home Business Opportunity Directory" in Google, dose not return your site in the TOP 20/30 results! maybe you need to give it some time... (link aging) because anther search for allintitle:"Home Business Opportunity Directory" and you are their #1
Keep on building more links and try to target keywords carefully.
If you targeted the wrong keywords, you would never see any results ;)

have you been doing any backlinks on other sites with the keywords you are trying to optimize? "home business" is a very broad niche and thus super competitive. you could narrow it down a bit with the sub categories and target those keywords as anchor links back to your site. google will see the anchor text and you'll rank better for those terms.

dude it takes much longer than 2-3 weeks to get seo traffic, you need to start building lots of back links for the keywords you want to rank for

How good are you ranking in Google? If you are not ranking good, then I guess you need to improve your SERPs, and if you rank well, then may be very few people search things related to "home business directory".

You need to generate more and more backlinks in order to get some weight for your anchor text. I would also suggest that you should try competing for a keyword with less competition. May be a combination of few keywords would do.

My dating directory is doing very well and dating is a very competitive niche. I've gotten thousands of visitors by people typing in random search queries ever since I first launched it off. That doesn't seem to be the case with my home business site.
