This Question has been asked many times on this forum.
Who have to pay taxes ?
Whom to apply for filing tax returns ?

    ANS :
If your adsense earnings are less then Rs. 1 Lakh per year then you DON'T have to pay taxes.
In fact whatever is your mode of earning, income below Rs. 1Lakh annually are not required to pay taxes in India.

    Now ease yourself:cool:

First, the non-taxable slab is now up to Rs 1.1 lac for men and up to Rs 1.45 lac for women (For assessment year 2007-2008).

Second, income tax is calculated on net income for self-employed persons and not just the Adsense income.

If a person having less than 1.1 lac Adsense income, has a net income more than 1.1 lac, he has to pay tax.

If a person having more than 1.1 lac Adsense income, has a net income less than 1.1 lac, he doesn't have to pay tax.
