Hi, I've been in the network since the beginning of Jan. I've never found a backlink for any of the sites I've got ads running for. It should be enough time by now to see something in the stats. But zero impressions are shown for all the ads. Weight varies between about 37k and 3k. After the google update, my weight went up to 37k but I see it's gone down to 3700 today. Curiously, I'm tracking the urls with Shawn's tracker and number of pages indexed, backlinks, and PR are the same as they were just after google updated. How can I go about finding if I've got some kind of error I've made or if there may be some kind of glitch in my account? It seems something isn't quite right. I appreciate any help or suggestions. uh-oh... did you enable your ads? The drop in weight was universal to the network. There was a change in the formula - so your weight did drop, but so did everybody else's so your exposure should be the same. To enable your ads, there is a "enable" link next to their listing (on the far left) in the coop network main screen (right next to stats). Stats are new, so I wouldn't be too surprised to see not a lot there. As far as no backlinks go, that is very strange. Typically you will see a few pop up in MSN very quickly. Google won't show the backlinks. Yahoo or MSN will. Google updates backlinks rarely (every month to every 3 or 4 months) and even then only shows a selection of your backlinks (usually pr4 or above show up, but occasionally lower pr'ed backlinks show)
I did make that mistake at first... but I enabled the ads months ago. Is there someone who can check an account to see if there is a problem? Thanks, Robert
