I've noticed a fair number of people here who don't have a website or blog. Nothing is wrong with this, and there are a few ways of making money even without a website. However, I have a feeling that many of these people do want to start a site or blog, but don't think that they have the technical skills required to do so.

But I want to reassure them that making a site, even with no html knowledge or technical skills needed, can actually be quite easy and still look great. If you have no budget, there are tons of free blogs (www.blogger.com is my favorite, but I know many people use wordpress.com as well). Even Allen's mywarriornetwork.com offers the ability to make a blog for free.

If you're looking for an actual website, several hosts come with free no-html-needed webpage editors that can actually look very professional and are quite easy to learn. (PM me if you need a few suggestions and aren't sure what is best for your needs.)

All of these are easy to do, and the best way to get started is to just sign up and start playing around with it. Some require a short learning curve, but if you start now, I'm guessing that within a few days you'll have most of it down and be sitting in a good position to start on a site or blog that you always wanted to.

If you're in this position, don't worry about making money quite yet. Worry about learning how to get things up and running. Teach yourself how it all works so that when you do learn of some good ways to make money, you'll be able to actually use them.

I'm often amazed at how many people want to start a site but simply don't take the time to learn anything about it.

Don't get me wrong, I know how hard it can be. When I first started, I knew essentially nothing about html. I started with free sites, and that's where I slowly learned more. I then taught myself GoLive, a great html and website editor and was later able to start on my own sites.

But the key is that I started and learned a lot from it. Now I realize that for most of my projects, I still hire people or have partners do the design because they're far better at it.

So, if you're putting this off, sign up right now and get learning!
