I posted the other day but nobody responded in regards to the fact that volume in Adwords traffic is plummeting. I was spending $3k plus a day on one campaign alone that had click through rates of over 8%. The keywords are very generic yet highly targeted to my site. I know that sounds strange but, true. This morning all keywords still show high CTR but have been thrown to the deactivated status with a "poor" rating. Anyone else experiencing similar results? I went through this last year when they implimented new standards and had tweaked and worked to get my traffic back. Now it is happening all over again......I have been hoping this is all a fluke and it will be back to "normal" any minute.
See this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=245633 In terms of your traffic fall off (I did read your other thread) My assumption is no one else was seeing a big drop off in traffic. There a number of reasons this could happen but it's hard to troubleshoot with the vague info provided.
it's not a fluke i guess...i also have a high-spending campaign on a single generic keyword that is actually very targetted and i have a highly relevant landing site. i have spent the last few hours trying various changes on the landing site but i haven't found a way yet how i can get the min bid for that single keyword below 5$. it is no problem for keyword combinations but not for the single one which produces by far the most traffic.
Sounds identical to my problem. Right up until yesterday, my site was qualifying with excellent landing pages. Not sure what has happened.
Well yea, they always want us to put a higher bid. On my ads, i have optimized everything, the ad's title and description, title/description of the landing page as well as the content and still want me to bid at least $5-$6 for each keywords! Wow, lolz When Google adwords say "Inactive for Search", does that mean there's really no way that your ad will appear on the search engine? Thanks!
I have noticed the same in my campaign. I have implemented everything that they suggest in their Google seminars and yet I am still recieving poor quality scores for relevant keywords. Previously they were fine. I wish Google would be a bit more specifc as to how to improve this situation.
