Either all those purely AdSense oriented websites will get down or Google will enable all the blocked accounts. I am inclined towards 1st assumption, and I guess its good to ban for life, hard lesson!
WPC, JamesColin is giving you some really good advice and knows what he's talking about. Don't bother wasting your time trying to get your adSense back; just go with some sort of affiliate marketing and mix in some other PPC like Chitika and Infolinks. Pick a niche without too much competition (check Semrush) and do some good SEO and you'll make more without the AdSense.
