For all who were so sure that this was permissible-- I sent this to Google asking if I could include at the coded top section of my page-- with the various meta tags and their answer follows <noscript> here you can put adsense for search (that type of ad is not javabased) or any other non-javabased ad </noscript> Here's the verdict -- which I suspected would be so all along: In regard to the ad code you mentioned, as modification of the AdSense for search code is a violation of our program policies, adding this line of code would not be permitted. If you encounter any problems with the functionality of AdSense for Search, please don't hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Sincerely, The Google AdSense Team
ad is not javabased or non-javabased ad (what is the different in this statement?) does not both mean the same ?
this was how the original "tiny tip" poster had the text line that was supposed to be a great and allowable tip -- so this is the text line submitted to Google and ruled as not allowed-- what alternative, that's allowable AND useful that you would suggest???
