    Hi all,

I have been using Joe Buck for the last week or so. Yes, I understand money will not fly at me. But I have advertised (a health forum, myspace, etc.), and still not even ONE sale. What is wrong here? Is there any other affialites that will sell more? I just want to make that ONE starting sale to tell myself, it is really possible for me to make money here, although this doesn't seem to be happening.

    Confused and Frustrated,
    Behnam

You're not going to make anything advertising here and there. You need to set up an organized plan to create a website and drive traffic to it. I actually have some experience with Joe Bucks and their products convert pretty well (if anyone is interested in signing up with them send me a PM)

I am planning on releasing an ebook in a couple weeks (hopefully) where I will explain exactly how to get started in affiliate marketing step by step. I started ~6 months ago and within a month of doing it I had made over $2500 and the next month over $5000. Its all about organization, planning, work, and persistence. If youre interested in keeping up to date on the ebook just send me a PM.

Funny that you mention Joe Bucks. I used them about 2 years ago, and was having problems with conversions. (I utilized offline and online marketing methods with a heavier emphasis on newspaper ads). I decided to put them to the test by attempting to place an order via the phone number (where they are supposed to ask for the promo code so the affiliate gets credit) and during both test calls, the sales rep did not ask for the promo code! Therefore no way of us getting credit!!

You wanna talk about being pissed...

I wrote an email to my affiliate manager, and the last response I got basically said that he was going to investigate the matter. At that point I never promoted them ever again and forgot about it.

Anyway, I'm not bashing them, because they may have improved or fixed those internal issues since then, but I thought I would share my experience anyway.

    Best of luck!

Thats interesting shamus, what % of buyers do you think prefer to call and order versus ordering online?
