No Sales with 80% CTR to Product Page???

I started a CB site recently and in the last 5 days I've had 150 (majority from article marketing) visits to my pre-sell page and 120 Hops to the product page but no conversions.

The product that I'm promoting has a gravity between 50-100 and 90+ Referral.

This is in the Health category.

What could be wrong? It seems like my pre-sell page is good to have such a high hop rate.

How much longer should I wait before looking into another product?

Not enough hops to make a call just yet, I have seen sales coming in just before I was going to pull the plug on a product, like 4 pretty close to each other that average things out nicely. Essentially it can go the other way and you can get sales quickly and then nothing blowing conversion rate and giving you stats that aren't entirely accurate. You have a great click through to vendor ratio, good job.

I would recommend hitting 1000 hops, if you have the patience, and access things then. If you think your continuity is spot on and your keywords, pre-sale and vendors page align, then it might simply convert a lot lower than you'd like.

You do not have a large enough sample space (hops) to make judgment just yet.

You can't tell anything for sure with 120 hops. Chances are that some people might come back later to purchase the product (which has happened for me in the past). I am sure things will shape pretty well after 250+ hops so just wait and don't lose hope whatsoever.

Sending hops to a sales page does not guarantee sales. Some products just dont convert easily.

The fact is that if a product have a high gravity many affiliates manage to sell it using various approaches. It is also important to note that the higher the gravity the more competition you are against.

Every product in this world can be sold, but the question is...are you using the right aproach to sell the product? and are you targeting the right audience?

Cheers! and remember that you can never fail as long as you never give up. If you keep trying you will manage to do it!:)

I agree you need to diversify.. all this rubbish with no conversion from 120 hops is BS...

However, you do need to consider.. some of thes CB product with popups or lead capture pages giving away free stuff to visitors stalls the sales process..

think about it, they just got a freebie to download, they are most likely to go away and read that before making a purchase, so you might get conversions down the track if they decide to purchase..

However.. the publisher will no doubt hit them with auto responders and if they buy too late down the track you will not get credit for it..

Personally I never promote products with lead captures giving away free stuff.. cant trust your cookie will still be on the visitors PC, or they might read an email from work pc and it does not have your cookie on it.. No credit..

Choose right products and send quality traffic. That would help.
