I used traffic estimator and those keywords you listed hardly made a click a day. i even tried combinations with smiley, file sending, send, but all of them just had either a click a day or nothing....im still not sure what exactly i should target. Thats the only thing left now.

Well, you should only target scripts you sell.

I assume your scripts are used to build article sites...

"article website" has about 3000 searches a month, but you might get people looking for article websites, not to build their own.

    build article web site
    design article web site
    own article website

    Just a few suggestions.

Bottom line is it doesn't do any good to send traffic that isn't interested in what you offer.

i see..ill try that....another funny thing i noted in the traffic estimator is that if i select " All countries & territories " then the estimated clicks per day is Much lower then if i select the first 20 countries or so which include us,uk,canada, & other european and far east countries. why would that be so?

Those we just examples to get you going in the right direction, not recomendations for specific words to bid on. There are hundreds of potential variations of your keywords out there.

Also, the traffic estimator is a worthless POS. Ignore it.

Let me ask you ask this - do you want 10 clicks a day that have a high probability of generating a sale or 100 clicks a day that don't?

In my experience, targeting specific keywords is much better then broad keywords.

I do some ringtone stuff, and for "free ringtones" or "ringtones", I would need to bid >$5 per click, which wouldn't be profitable. The people bidding this much for keywords get discounts when they spend that much (that's what I've been told), and are big companies (not affiliates) that can afford to pay that much.

This may not be the case with your campaign, but it carries the same meaning. More specific keywords gives your customer a more targetted ad and you a better chance of a sale.
