OK I have just been looking at my account over the last four days and I think we are on to something here perhaps we have hit a dry season for some reason.

Going of my avergae for the past 30 days I should have got at least another 4 sales in the last four days but I have had none up to now.

Ok it's time for the majic email. I sent it last week.

Someone pleasde send the the message that we are not making any sales and the majic will come.

    Works everytime...

Last week I sent it out on friday after no sales for a few days and by saturday i had made 7 sales and 200 bucks.

On Monday i got the return message asking what my problem could be? I had a great weekend. I though it was funny

I am beginning to hate Click Bank. That and commission Junction as well. It seems like no matter how much you advertise or how much traffic you drive to the product the click-through rate is way down.

Big drop in sales for me this week too after a record last week! 1 sale in 5 days now, is very low for me.

If I sent 4000 targetted hops and got nothing, I would be going mental. Would love to know what CB say.

I'm having the same problem too. I've regular sales of $100-$200 per day with around 700clicks.
Now I focus on marketing, having around 2000 clicks per days and it's the 5th day with ZERO sales!

Some customers complaining "Unable to process your transaction", and other funny problems ...
    Something is definitely wrong ...

Hmmm sounds like there might be something wrong with the credit card transactions because everyone seems to be having a problem for the last 5 days.

    OK

Lets try and work this out.

Please tell us if you have had any sales by credit card in the last 5 days and what credit cards?

Really? Perhaps it is all fixed or perhaps it was nothing to do with that, hope everything is back to normal now though :)

Alot of affiliates are experiencing a slow trend this month, its been slow for me compared to last year but with the economy and season we are in its understandable!!

Yeah I realise the economy is in a bad shape I think we all do but over the past 5 days I have heard a lot of talk about people getting minimal sales when the amount of hops is just the same.

The past five days for me has seen no sales but over 200 hops which I would generally average 5-10 sales from.

Either way I am still promoting and increasing traffic, you just have to get on with it I suppose.

Hope no one takes this as me complaining, I am hardly complaining just interested in the subject of sales performance.

Got a sale myself just a minute ago as well, I think some affiliates get caught up in these conspiracy theories too much!! I think all we can do is diversify and keep expanding into different niches.

This is what I can tell you. I do a fairly high volume of sales, across many different products. I do have some BAD days, however, as a general rule things seem to average out.

    1) There ARE credit card processing problems - I have had customers verify this. These problems seem to strike by product (server maybe that the product happens to be on) and the customers country. While my US customers may not be able to pay by CC, International customers are fine.

    2) I do NOT believe CB is intentionally shaving or that their tracking itself is as "flawed" as some claim it to be. Go on the boards of other major affiliate programs, and you will see the same claims of skimming, etc.

    3) If your sales do drop, and I can't emphasize this enough, MAKE SURE the problem is not at your end. By this, I mean use a good stats program to verify that your traffic is still coming from the EXACT same sources. 2,000 hits from what keyword may yield half the sales of 50 hits from another keyword.

    Just some ideas!

Did the sale show in analytics or on transaction search, or both?
