No rules being broken?

Ok.. I know I already made a thread similar to this, but I have more questions and want to make it clearer.

I just want to make sure I am not breaking any of Google's rules, so please help me out here.

    Here is my blog: http://www.freebieshark.com
Above my posts, I have a box that says "Sponsored Links", which looks like a post. I have a google ad in that box...is this fine with Google?

I know that I am allowed to label ads with "Sponsored Links" or "Advertisements", but I am confused on these two.

    "You May Not:
-Format ads so that they become indistinguishable from other content on that page.
-Format site content so that it is difficult to distinguish it from ads."

Taken from here(under 'Encouraging Clicks' section): https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=48182&gsessionid=2Ttg-nkEILZhdATdxTjf1w

Are any rules being broken?:confused:
    Thank you

    Nice looking site/blog... ;)

    1. In other words you cant make the google ads within the body of the content as if it
where a link for them to get the info they are reading (at least how i understood it)

    2. In other words make your site content look like the Ads where it would confuse people into clicking them

You site Ads looks good to me... (but as always get other opinions)

I would go with the blue anchor text and black description text so it blends in nicely with the template theme.
(you may want to see which way it gets more clicks...experiment a little)

Best of luck with your site

    thx

as i said in the other thread, there's no rules broken and it would be more effective without the text above the ads.

Well since I put up the "Sponsored Links", my CTR increased, that's why I wanted to make sure if it was legal to keep it like how it is.

Well that's not what I experience when I did it WAY IN THE PAST, perhaps it depends on your integration/ad placement. But for me it was clear that having nothing to label the ads was better in terms of CTR.

I don't see any problems with it, like you said the rules state that your ads must be distinguishable from the content, and vice versa. If you were to make a blog post that said something like "Free stuff here", and posted google links or ads under it, then it would be hard to tell between the content and the ads - right?

Labeling the ads as sponsored links and having them separate from your actual content is fine by my interpretation of the rules. Keep up the good work, your site is looking good.

You're fine. It's obvious that they are ads and you even say so by saying "Sponsored Links". Google could still ban you anyway because... Well... They like to do that. But they'll wait until you have some revenue first. Then they will just cut you off and won't tell you why... Oh, and they get to keep your revenue.

    So have fun!
