    Hi all,

I have a blog related to diamonds. I have placed adsense on this blog. There is no revenue since last 15 days. What happened? Is my adsense account ban by google? Blog url is in signature.

They would stop showing ads on your site if they banned you and they would send you email.

It is possible that nobody clicks on your ads because they are not on very good position and maybe you should blend them a little into your blog design, change colours. How many visitors do you get daily?

Despite the promise of the system, it is wrong to assume that just because you create a website with ads that you will

    (a) get traffic
    (b) get traffic that is motivated enough to click on the ads and
    (c) get ads which match the momentary interests of your visitors.

Having said that, I think that you are assuming people are going to be keen enough about the topic to page down in order to see your first Google AdBlock. That is a bad assumption. All new visitors will decide within a few seconds of their arrival whether or not to continue looking. You should assume most will not. Consequently, you might consider placing a small Google AdSense block at the top of the page. If in the menu area, keep it small.

If your main business site is "Buy Jewelry Online", why are you not advertising that site in your blog instead of trying to get a few pennies from AdSense? You need to think potential revenue per square inch of visual real estate on your blog. Which pays better in the long run -- a buck or two a day from Google or a sale or two a week from your retail site? Whose business do you want to build -- Xyz's company or your company?
