No record on google analytics

I added my site to google analytics a week ago and successfully installed the tracker but until now the statistics is zero.. have I done something wrong? How long before GA record my traffic?

2600 posts and not used GA? It works immediately, with a 4 hr delay. It was not installed right. Ask GA where you went wrong - they are very helpful.

 

I have normally seen GA recording traffic right on the next day. You might have some error in your analytics installation. You might want to share your URL so that folks here can check for mistakes.

 

it should say something like "tracking stats" or something if it's working properly. look at the screen where you initially got the code.

 

GA should work pretty much instantly. Where did you put the GA code on the page?

 

You will see stats in 24 hours. Otherwise if it still doesn't work for some reason, try StatCounter.

 

I think I figured it out already... i am not using GA... I used some other tools... just started using GA.. thanks
