Hi A keyword from one of my site goes down after penguin update from Page 1 to 12. previously that keyword was getting about 200 traffic now it is on 12 pages but still getting traffic nearly half from last time which 100. How is it possible to get traffic from 12 page?
It may be your site still higher for that keyword in google australia or google UK or google Indonesia or google india etc. Did you check your ranking in all google extensions? Make use of google analytics which shows the traffic from all extensions.

I think there was direct traffic on that site. If one time its creadit is created for a particular site then it will automatically got the traffic.
There are certain things that in some locations, you keyword was still visible in top page that's why your keyword is still getting traffic.

Do you have an image that ranks well? A few months ago Google started reporting traffic from Google Images in the organic search section of Analytics. I've had cases where it looks like I'm getting search traffic for a keyword that I don't rank for and it turned out to be from Google Images.
