NO PR update yet but SERP, visitors and SE traffic goes up and down... anybody else?

Hi there,

I know there is not a PR update going on yet (before anybody goes mad about the whole PR update Fever again) but most of my sites (30+) overall rankings and traffic is bumping up and down. Sometimes with really big differences, going from page 4 to a steady second place in google for more than 1 keyword. Others which are long time settled are going down in ranking since this week.

Anybody experiencing the same the last couple of days and hours?

Yes, I'm seeing some movement on the SERP stuff on my sites.

 

Same with my sites. There is SERP movement, no PR change

I am also having the same problems since the first of July, searches for keywords that were on the first page are now 10 pages back.

I guess like others, we will wait and see where the dust settles. I have lost about 90% of google traffic and look forward to its return.

 

i dont see any changes in serps but index rates for my forum went from 10,000+ to 4,000+

 

I just thought it was my advertising techniques reeking benefits >.< My traffic has jumped around 1000-1500 uniques a day. w00t!

 

I am not noticing anything abnormal. My positions move a few spots on a daily basis. Get some high quality backlinks and your positions should stabalize.

Good to see I am not the only one noticed some movements.
We will see what Biggy G has in mind for our near future.

ya, i saw google dancing. So something up and down but it is normal. So, if it down for you, you need more content, more backlinks.

 

Changing in rankings keep moving around as PR update expected soon so better keep our sites indexed frequently.

My site has been fluctuating between 14th and 110th for my main keyword, it all seems crazy at the moment. Hoping the dust settles soon.

 

I own several sites and the SERP's are all over the place! Hoping that when all is said and done I gain some higher search engine ranking.

 

It's been the same with many of us. No idea if there will be a PR update, but definitely major changes in the serp.

Now here is the funny part, I have a long standing website for a particular keyword. The site normally ranks #1 or #2 for this keyword which is fairly popular and is in automobile industry and hence profitable. I've done tons of directory submission and link building over a period of time. What's funny is, my main site is now nowhere in top 50 !!, to add to it, the directory submissions I had done come up before my actual site shows up in the serps, infact they show up on page 1 !!

No idea whats happening .

I got traffic from new keyword but all old keywords stopped sending traffic to my blog.
