No Pr update but HUGE keyword jump!

I just recently (3 weeks ago) started to market a new website for some extremely competive keywords.

I was no were to be found in Google and today I landed on page 6 out of 979,000,000 competitors. Now I know page 6 is nothing special but for only 3weeks of marteting I thought that was pretty damn good. Guess I still need to see if it sticks also.

Anyway just wanted to brag a bit

also if the keywords are well searched, that would be the best!

pagerank is always being updated, SERPs will change all the time because of that.

Actually PR has no relation with ranking, and for google, both are affected by backlinks. PR will be updated daily in google data center, but will only update its google toolbar around every 3-4 month. However, ranking in SERPs is updated every time.

 

First of all you seem to be very lucky to find those keywords. And you should work good enough to get there. Good luck in your future efforts. I guess you will see yourself in the first page sooner or later..

i was top ranked in my keyword. its a new site, but after that is start falling, and after 2-3 mth of effort, i brign it up again.

It depends if you appeard in the 6th page for the right keyword or not

i've a domain that is ranked #1 in 2 keywords that aren't related to my site
