No PR on Alexa

You guys noticed that Alexa = PR0 ?
Your search - link:www.alexa.com - did not match any documents

 

Yeah... I noticed it today too.

Has alexa always been PR0. or is it just today?

Seems a bit strange... Alexa should definitive have a higher PR

 

Its been a PR0 for some time now...I think since the last update although thats only the first time I saw it mentioned..It may have been longer than that.

 

Hm... I barely ever use robots.txt, so somebody will have to confirm this for me.

If I go:

Will that not block the entire site from Google? Because that's what Alexa is doing.

link:www.alexa.com returns no results, but link:alexa.com returns 2500 (still seems oddly low).

 

My toolbar shows a PR7 for http://alexa.com/

Another abnormally low backlink check is smallbusiness.yahoo.com

I have been wondering about that, 1700 links seems way low.

 

Yah, www.alexa.com shows PR 0 for me, but alexa.com shows PR 7... I guess if they deny googlebot and don't get any pages indexed for www.alexa.com, they would stay at PR 0.

 

I just tried that out too. Alexa.com has a PR7 when www.alexa.com has a PR0.
