No PR, but established and respected

    All, does it make sense to you for me to get links from sites with no PR, but are popular and well established.

    I may not get any traffic it, but will google give me some credit..

    yeah - G will give you credit. Not sure how much. But it doesn't hurt :)

    For no-follow links, different people have different opinions. In my case, I don't bother getting no-follow links since I'd rather use the time to get do-follow links.

    If its no-follow, and in all likelihood they wont generate any traffic, why should I do it

    I've gotten plenty of direct traffic from no-follow links, it just isn't search engine traffic.
