No place to report fraudulent transactions?

I recently engaged in a small website purchase that turned out to be fraudulent (the "seller", username SweetGuys, turned out to in fact not be the owner of the domain).

I am working on getting the money back - that is not the problem - but there doesn't seem to be any way in which users like this can be reported and their IP banned when appropriate (though I'm sure it is appropriate in any case where people falsely represent that they own sites and then "sell" them).

Do you mean you're dealing with this guy? http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=257028

Get real dude. He is just join here and have less than 10 post and 0 iTrader. iTrader exist here in DP for purpose.

I guess this is a lesson learn for you. Just move on. Just be careful with whom you're dealing next time.

We have a bad post report button, [IMG] , to use to report problems.

Always use due diligence in each and every transaction.

And please don't report a post just because a deal went sour. We don't get involved in personal issues in your transactions, and won't simply ban someone or their IP. Those issues are your own responsibility - be careful about who you do business with, as it's at your own risk here. In the meantime, leave an appropriate iTrader comment if you want to warn others (tied to a deal thread you were taking part in), but do so understanding that if you leave iTrader, the other party is allowed to do the same. It's generally an unmoderated area.
