Exactly. What about christians that go to Saudi Arabia and are prohibited from opening a church or drinking alcohol.

Right, well we consider that to be intolerant, don't we?

I don't understand a rationale that says, "Hey, other people are intolerant, so we should be intolerant as well".

The bottom line is, this vulgar woman's idea of banning women from dressing a certain way is akin to throwing the baby out with the bathwater if she wants to stop women being repressed.

Precisely! We do not need to learn from them. An eye for an eye leaves both blind. In this case it leaves behind two intolerant societies.

My point is, Ireland openly mocks religion, if anything.

An old saying is "A good Irish Catholic prays to God so that he may believe in him."

The traditional dance is a bunch of young women in short skirts kicking as high as they can. A typical household involves the man going out to work and giving his paycheck to his women who then gives him a part back as allowance.

Just be aware of that, if you want to be treated as an equal in Ireland it will mean making a massive joke out of religion and handing a lot of power over to the women.

I love me my Irish woman :)
