No penalty, Still dissapear from SERP ?

HI,
4 week back I optimize one of my blog for a keyword and was working to rank for this keyword.
It was showing improvement and it was on 3rd page for that keyword... But sudenly when I check today it was not even in first 10 pages in Google.

It is still showing in google with the operator site:mysite.com (Click this link to view Googel search result)

Can some one suggest what can be the possible reason for this ?

Yes it can happen even though your site remains indexed. If its not a penalty it could be a glitch. It happened to me recently because of hosting downtime. Also, its very common for new sites to experience this jump in rankings.

All you can do is keep creating content and building new links.

 

or it could just be another fluctuation thing however, if your rankings doesn't get back the way it used to be in the next couple of days or weeks then something has obviously happened to your SERP results. Check your website again, you might have missed something.

 

Are you using Google Webmaster Tool? This could give you some clue!

 

Thanks.. I just published an article and it was indexed within second by google.. it means Google is happy with my blog

 

Yes.. I use GWT, but there is no unusual information there.. Showing back link as earlier.. also indexed url are same.

 

Its not penulty all the times. Google may de-index your indexed pages, lower their serps, exclude them to appear for certain keywords anytime because of its continuous quest to achieve best search results for a keywords. It is the regular practice of google, so you sometimes see good news and sometimes bad news.

 

Is it google slap?

 

I wouldnt worry much about it. I am sure it is just the Google dance. It will probably jump back up in a day or 10. Googles crazy.

Its 4 days, still same status.

 

After 2 weeks, I got my ranking back without much efforts..
I think it was temporary Google dance.
