I noticed it today while testing to make payment to my other account. Paypal show this notice

This is really shocking for me on how to now accept payment from others.
Is there any such easy way like paypal to accept payment in India.?

    Thanks

PayPal India has already blocked personal payments to and from Indian PayPal users, effective March 2010. See this story.

    Hi,
You may want to try an alternative Payment Processor as paypal isn't overly convenient for all Indian Clients.
One alternative that you might want to look into would be AlertPay, as we specialize in serving markets that have trouble with other payment processors.
    Hope this helps,

It has been a long time that paypal made this rules. I think you must go with moneybooker now.. or if you want to recieve paypal payments. then i must suggest you to go with plimus.com

According to RBI paypal already blocked the payment from and to Indians. So Indians can receive the payment from abroad and send to the people only other than Indians by credit card. Because Indians cannot use their paypal balance.

It really sucks if you are in india. I'd switch to something real soon unless you want to deal and be frustrated because of their service.

Paypals stubbornness is costing us the issues. If paypal accepts INR as a currency of transaction then we can easily transact via paypal. Indians then will be able to send and receive money to and from Indians.

Don't blame on RBI, they are right on their rules & laws. It's Paypal who made this rule, not the RBI. Paypal is stubborn & only using the popularity & their wide spread dependent nature to set rules like this. We the Indian's, who are small freelancer are suffering from this rule. But Paypal does not cares for this. We all Indian users must request to Paypal to change this rule.

Ya, This is RBI policy. PayPal can't break the rule.
At first I have also a thinking that PayPal does this all. But later came to conclusion. One thing you may not have noticed.
RBI says Indians can't have the balance in their PayPal account more than 7 days. If they do so they have to give interest like bank.
My question if this rule of RBI is for PayPal then why don't this rule not implemented on some other payment processor companies.
Do the other Payment Processor give us interest ?
And another thing why don't Indian Govt. not interested to stop black money deposited in SWISS bank.
I know there are many SWISS bank outlets in India.

Well, this is really ridiculous rules facing by Indians. Does this new rule mean we can receive payments but cannot withdraw into bank account? Or we cannot receive payment itself???
Please clarify this because I am about to receive a small payment of $25 from one of my friend.

You can receive payments but they should be not above $500 per transaction.

You can receive up to $500/transaction and you can withdraw as much as you need. Only thing is, you can't send money using PayPal balance. You should use Credit Card for sending payments. Also, you can't send money to Indian PayPal account holders.
