Till now I've not received the payment for the period ending 2009-09-30 that was supposed to be credited as Direct Deposit on 2009-10-14. It usually takes 3-4 days, so I thought I would receive it by 2009-10-17. But today is 2009-10-22. No direct deposit till date. Is this a problem with CB itself? Do we need to contact CB or anybody else?
I too have not received a check from the pay period of 2009-09-30. I am getting a little concerned because I received the checks for my other 2 accounts but this one has not arrived yet. I don't want to do DD because the USD rate is so poor right now.
actually the previous payment was also sent late. and the pyment showing sent by DD on 14th has not yet been received by me. Lets hope that it arrives at my bank pretty quick ;-)
Out of curiosity what would be the procedure if clickbank didn't pay up? what if you tried to contact them over and over again and you had been waiting for months for payment, would you get a lawyer involved?
Guys, if you need to call Clickbank to sort out the payment issues, you can find the number here (there is a toll-free 1800 number): http://www.warriorforum.com/main-internet-marketing-discussion-forum/72388-how-can-clickbank-not-have-customer-service-phone-number.html They don't advertise their phone support on their website so you have to search elsewhere online to get it (sneaky; many other affiliate programs have decent phone support). They will likely direct you to their accounting department, which is dragging their feet on this issue and keep giving the same canned, nonchalant response. Get your grouses heard out loud and don't let them sweep the problem under their carpet. Clickbank is wasting our time figuring out how to get back our commissions instead of devoting our efforts to promote their products. The last thing Clickbank affiliates and vendors should worry about is having their dues paid on time. Any other affiliates and vendors not being paid their sales and commissions, please let your voices be heard here.
I'm not sure about the practices in the US. One could probably file a complaint with their FTC or equivalent. If FTC receives a sustained pattern of similar complaints, they could probably initiate an investigation.
Get the boys, find their address and pay them a kind 'visit' lol, but seriously I dont think they would do this but if they did keep hassling them with phone calls and then maybe get a lawyer involved
I'm sure clickbank will get this sorted out, I'm sure it wasn't on purpose. There to big of a force to screw affiliates over, if they do it will be a huge blow to there reputation and I'm sure they don't want that. Maybe I might just be backing them up because I personally did get my payment, but I get checks sent to me. I've been thinking about going direct deposit, but have never got to it since I've always gotten my checks (although sometimes late) I've always got them, so I'm kind of glad I haven't switched to direct deposit yet. This only seemed to effect direct deposit so it's probably some type of system error or something, I really doubt it was done purposely.

I spoke with Clickbank yesterday. From where I am (Singapore), affiliates are not getting their direct deposits due to a technical glitch for the payment sent on 14 October. This is what they said: "We have been told that a receiving bank in Singapore erroneously rejected a very small batch of payments, those have now been resubmitted and are expected to be credited within a few days." From the postings here, it is apparent that the problem is not just limited to Singapore, but other countries too. This episode certainly puts a damper on affiliates' confidence on clickbank's accounting and payment system.
Thanks racerx20 for calling Clickbank and updating us with the issue. I only communicated with them via email and the latest reply I received last night was this. Sadly, they chose to be honest with you but not with me. I've just received a payment today which I believe is the Oct-21 so it does look like it's a batch problem. They said it's a receiving bank in Singapore rejecting the payment. Is everybody using UOB? Anyone using any other banks? I noticed that Australia looks like it's affected as well. Which other countries are affected?
