There is still no pagerank update but one of my sites went from page 49 to page 1 i hope it stays like that.
I recently came out of the sandbox for a bunch of semi competitive terms on one of my sites. Nice stuff.
My site had come out of the sandbox for a few semi competitive terms, but today again its rank is falling.
I started a site about 3 weeks a go and now I am on page 1 for some of the searches I would like to be which are quite general. PR prediction tolls show PR5 but I am wondering if being on the first page means that my site might get high PR.
I have to agree...we have sites that are moving up and back depending on the datacenter. For instance all of our sites are ranking way better through te big daddy ip then just going to google.com which i hope is a sign of things to come when google officially moves to big daddy.
my site disappears for a while, and when it returns, my SERP position is getting higher. i think its normal to have fluctuating SERP position. the bad thing is knowing that your site is out of SEs index.
Last week my 5-month-old site was NOWHERE to be seen in google for any keywords. This morning the site debuted at 160 or so for my main keyword, and many other KWs have now appeared. I know 160 is VERY low, but does it mean I should at last begin moving up in the SERPs?
I've been resurecting and old site, and recently noticed a subdirectory page was assigned a PR of 2. The page rank is fluctuating daily from 0 to 2, back to 0, then 2. I'm using a future page rank tool, that querys about 10-15 data centers. A couple days ago I watched as all the centers drop the PR to 0 then, the next day, 2-3 datacenters would show a PR of 2. How can you tell which datacenters have valid results.
This happens like every three or four months (from what I observed). SERPs and pageranks fluctuate for 10 days or so then go back to normal again.
