No PageRank for 6 months?

    I'm a bit confused as to what's going on with my site rawmeat.com. I'm indexed in Google, have lots of good PR sites pointing to it, but after 6 months I still have a pagerank of 0. Other sites of mine which are newer have received pageranks already.

    Any ideas?

    Do you have any inbound links going to that site? Building up the linkback count will help raise your PageRank quite a bit.

    Google is a lot more selective in backlinks than yahoo or MSN. Google is only showing backlinks from one site. Toolbar PR only updates every 3-4 months, so if you obtained those links after or just before the last update, that could be the reason.

    Don't concentrate on PR, but backlinks from relevant sites - and a lot of them. Without those, you are never going to rank well for any competitive keyword in google. I'm sure you have more backlinks than just the one site, but check the top ranking sites for the keyword(s) you are targeting and see how many google is showing for them.

    I'm not sure why it's only showing links from 1 site. According to Marketleap, I've got 200,000 links back. And I know there are many PR 5 and 6 sites linking to rawmeat.com.

    When I use this link:

    google.com/search?as_lq=www.rawmeat.com&btnG=Search

    it returns 5,030 sites linking back to me in Google. What's the difference between that and the other URL provided above?

    That's odd. I it only brought up 6 links (all from the same site) when I ran it using SEOopen - and using it again, it shows 5,003. Is your site all links to other sites inside a frame? There are sites that google prevent from showing PR (like some directories). Is there any original content on the site? Have you sent google an email?

    If you had that many links prior the last toolbar update, it would appear google is blocking it from showing PR.

    Yes, the site is all links to other sites in a frame. Basically, it's a link blog. However, that shouldn't prevent a good pagerank - some very high PR sites are just the same. Another of my sites also does this and it is a PR 5. But at least, it should have some sort of PR.

    I sent Google an email a long while ago, but they weren't very helpful. I browsed around Google's site looking for that contact form but couldn't find it. Do you happen to know what email address or URL I can use to contact them?

    Thanks,
    Adam

    I think if you have apache server you should use this in .htaccess

    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.example\.net [NC]
    RewriteRule ^(.*) http://www.example.net/$1 [L,R=301]
    </IfModule>

    sorry maybe not. i was reading this thread with speed of light
